DC boards for nuclear power stations
DC boards are designed:
- to ensure the necessary connection between the rectifier and the batteries
- to ensure the necessary connection between storage batteries and direct current consumers
- to protect rectifier input circuits, batteries and connections
DC boards include the equipment of switching, protection, automation, measurement, signaling and are designed to work together with automation tools as part of an automated technological process control system.
Information from an automated technological process control system is transmitted by “dry” contacts. The control and management circuits of the direct current of the 24 V circuit are galvanically separated from the power circuits.
